Band Wagon Music & Magic Bus Recording Studio

Durango's source for everything you need to "Bust Out Dem Home Grown Tunes". We offer the premiere turn-key full service digital recording facility.

More Than A Music Store

Band Wagon Music and the Magic Bus Recording Studio strive to offer an authentic and local experience for touring bands and home studio recordists. Our shop includes a turn-key studio, home recording software, and lessons to the more traditional wares you'll find in a music store such as guitars, banjos, amps, percussion, PA systems, mic's, accessories, private lessons, and a repair service.

Having served the Durango area faithfully for 36 years in the nearby College Plaza, Thom Rader, Owner & Musician, relocated Band Wagon Music to the heart of Durango's Eastside and remodeled an office space to accomodate the studio and music shop. It has user-friendly alcoves for playing acoustic guitars, private rooms for electronic equipment demos, testing guitar amps and PA systems. Our new location 1/2 block up from Home Slice Pizza on East College Drive adds up to an intimate feeling for your shopping experience. Antique instruments and local music art define Band Wagon's historic cultural ambience.
